Waking up to the news that the infrastructure bill passed. IM SO PROUD TO BE A DEMOCRAT!!

Make sure you strut around today. Hold your head high as you do!! This is a HUGE win for Biden and Pelosi. This is a HUGE win for America.

Post a news story on social media!! Drop in the passage in causal conversation with friends and family.

BTW, Republican Twitterverse is in a frenzy now!! They are so pissed and I love it!!

I wonder why this couldn't have been done weeks ago? I hope this signals the end of the infighting (at least until after the 2022 election). Let's work together and get things done so that we can win some more seats, after that we can continue to display our dysfunctional family unit.

projected. Moody's estimates a salary average of $70,000.

“Just take a look at a construction site,” Zandi said. “Those are the kinds of things — manufactured things — that will be needed for these projects. Of course, it takes all kinds of people to produce those types of manufactured goods. These infrastructure projects could boost the economy in rural areas where it’s difficult to find work.

Tony Carnevale, who heads the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce, estimates the Senate infrastructure bill would create about a million jobs, with 70% of them filled by people who didn’t go to college.

"[The] people who have pretty much been left behind in the United States for 40 years now."

We're making it happen! This of course needs to be just the start, more to come.

I've felt so deflated for several weeks now. Between the infrastructure "we're going to vote... oops... we're not going to vote" roller coaster to fighting for my pension, I have really felt pretty hopeless and powerless.

I finally got some good news on my pension yesterday evening (well, if it holds ...) but went to bed before the BIF vote was taken. I just couldn't take the stress of it. So it's a wonderful surprise to wake up to! Rather than spending the weekend just being on hold, waiting for Monday to fight some more, we can celebrate!

Too bad they couldn't have found a way to name it BFD because that's what it is!

This bill benefits them as much as anyone else.

They would rather lose a leg as a Republican than walk as a Democrat.
