Eloquence is a good word. His delivery is calm and yet he brings the message of importance. He, his wife and family are so missed..eight years went by so fast for me...maybe not them!

did he do the audio of his book?
i went to india shortly after he was re-elected. i had the audio book of 'audacity of hope', and he got me through those long flights.
well, that and the ambien.

been meaning to check out the podcast.

7. I was listening to his speech at the Climate summit.

It was just amazing...as his speeches always are. He has such an ease of connecting to people. So natural.

8. yup. i got to meet him when he ran for senate.

nice as could be. you could tell he genuinely loved people.
had a friend who needed help when he was in the senate. both he and durbin did what they could. but she said he rly went above and beyond. she wouldnt say what, exactly, but i can guess.
