for John Kerry in 2004. I watched a few minutes and then called my kids, 12 and 13
to come watch. I told them "Someday this guy will be our President."

there were many great orators in the 20th century

william jennings bryan, fdr, huey long, churchill, hitler, jfk, dr king, even reagan

but in the 21st oratory seems to have been replaced by word salad as practiced by trump and sarah palin.

I'm not saying he isn't a good speaker but there's plenty of time for new ones to arise, heck they probably haven't even been born yet.

Secondly, Michelle Obama is better than he is as the first example.

He's the greatest so far, tho.

Michelle is an outstanding speaker, and I love listening to her, but I think Barack's rhetorical skills are as good as they come.

Who else can compete with him? Certainly no one on the repuglikan side. Hillary is great as well, but I don't see her as quite the orator that Barack is.
