We've been WAITING for this!
Lots of kids at the pharmacy.
Parents were all shyly smiling at each other (you can see a *real* smile, even with a mask!).
And there were quiet cheers, and little encouragements every time a kid came out.
The RELIEF!
I, being me, burst into tears. Happy, happy tears!

(9,267 posts)The little guy really freaks out at needles so theyre taking them to their regular pediatricians office, who are certainly used to needle-adverse kids crying. Trip to Dairy Queen after.

(205,552 posts)I can imagine you're so relieved! We all have been waiting for the kids to be eligible! When I took my brother to get his second shot at the end of May, there were several teens there with their Moms and I remember wishing that all the kids could be vaccinated before school started in the fall. Good for you and your vaccinated little one...
