Got my booster today!!!

My mother and I went together so she could get her booster also. I got my flu shot also.

My arm from the COVID vaccine hurts when I lift my arm.

Can side effects include sudden sharp muscular pains?

1. 6 Days after my booster my arm muscles from shoulder to elbow were so agonizingly sore that

I couldn't find any position to ease the pain. Kept me awake all night & most of the next night, as well.

I had no effects from the first two shots, so I was surprised, especially since the pain didn't occur until 6 days after the shot.

A couple of my friends also had fierce shoulder to elbow muscle pain, but theirs was from the first two shots and started the next day, not 6 days later.

2. Mine was sore for about 3 days. REALLY sore.

I had sudden arm pain as did my husband. I had a long weekend of not feeling well but today is much better. I’m so glad you’re boosted!

It is not just my arm. It is my whole body. Kind of like what the Shingles shot did but not as bad. I will live, might hurt some but it is better than hurting because I have COVID.

9. just rest -- maybe eat some protein -- and you're right about it being better than having covid

i'm not familiar with the shingles shot

when i had j&j back in april it kicked my ass

i got moderna booster and it was a piece of cake in comparison
some friends who got the pfizer booster had some bigtime side effects

10. My arm was really sore for three days. Yes sharp pains in the arm area.

Try to move your arm around, that is supposed to help.

11. I got mine late yesterday afternoon.

My arm is killing me. Had trouble staying asleep as every time I turned it started throbbing.

My legs also just started getting achy.

Same symptoms as after my second shot though I had a low fever last time, too.
