Disappointing if that’s how it went down. Why Bannon is walking around free is a mystery to me. What’s the down side of locking his gin soaked ass up?

It was referred to DoJ for criminal prosecution so it certainly would seem Congress felt it was criminal.

Would Garland eventually send some sort of response if he intended not to act?

Yeah, it was a well deserved dig at Moscow Mitch, and it probably felt good to a lot of us. But his Supreme Court nomination was not because of his liberal leanings but for his acceptability to the Traitor controlled senate. Mitch likely had a pleased chuckle over his new job at DOJ. Surely there is a fire breathing, constitutional fanatic Democratic prosecutor who could have permanently wiped the turtle smile off that jerk's face.
