(451 posts)Internet outage in the San Fracisco Bay area. We lost our Internet, and then our Verizon cell service quit working. Could not access phone, Internet, or text messages. First time I have experienced all of them going down at the same time.

(14,643 posts)If you can, you can look at the outage map. If there are no outages, you can do the troubleshooting thing thats there. Ive had it reboot my router, from my phone, and fix everything when there were no outages.
Sometimes it will show no outages, but a few minutes later they show up. Weve had that happen too. Cant remember if you can actually report them from there.

(9,076 posts)From San Jose to Napa. No one's Comcast worked.
As a result, Verizon's 5G phone data network went down as well. (Internet went out, so everyone got on their phone and plugged up the network).
It was interesting. No phone or internet for about an hour.
Wonder what that was about.

(30,674 posts)There are real-time outage maps online that might help. I'd give a link, but don't know your location.
Cheers!
