If You Have a Medicare Advantage Plan and Have Not Received

information about next year's plan from your plan provider, it's a good idea to check with that provider to make sure you'll be automatically enrolled for 2022.

You can call the customer service phone number on your card to inquire about this. I just got off the phone and was told that my plan would be automatically renewed. I hadn't gotten any information about that so far, so I thought I'd better check.

If you're thinking about changing plans, don't wait too long. Deadline is December 7. If you're OK with your current plan, though, it's a good idea to check on its renewal. Once you do, you can throw away all of the many offerings that show up in your mailbox from other providers.

two plans I picked (which one of the two his practice prefers (from a formerly chosen HMO option that I had)).

I am getting tired of getting multiple notices on a daily basis in the mail, but I guess that's a good thing, perhaps those in sparsely populated areas are having more issues in getting anything / any news on medical plans offered in their area.
