Time for ALL OF YOU to remember what Maya Angelou said...

This great Woman, Maya, was in my house when I was 11 yrs old. Great story, but is she right or wrong?

She is right and the cons are openly threatening to kill us and our politicians.

The day has come.

Would it have helped if those of us who said this FIVE YEARS ago were listened to instead of SILENCED? Yeah, but now is the time to accept this.

I respect Maya Angelou's wisdom (and advice) so much.
This has been my signature line.....from the beginning.

It is a good test of a person's character.

was a singer.

It was the time right after JFK was shot, at the time Women wearing hats was a thing because of Jacqueline Kennedy, she wore hats.

My mom had on some extravagant hat at the nightclub where they were watching Maya perform, at one point Maya walked over to my mom and commented how she liked my mom's hat, so my mom being my mom handed it to her and said "it's yours" and she proceeded to invite her to our house the next night for dinner.

So that night I was being sent to the local hamburger place so the adults could have dinner, I had no idea who she was, I barely noticed anything unusual even though I can assure you the neighbors were all talking

Fast forward to around 2012 and my dad sends her a letter and she gets it and he tells her the story but my dad could not remember the name of the club even though it was our hometown, MAYA wrote back and told HIM the name of the club and in dad's letter he told her about me, the liberal of the family and how I admired her so she commented on me also.
