Things you forget, and remember, while watching the Heil Rittenfuhrer "trial."

More than 35 years I trained for an entire year to certify as a civilian EMT in Wisconsin. After I was certified I worked as a volunteer EMT. At the same time I was in the military.

Never once, before I went to the ambulance barn, did I find it necessary to get issued my M-16. Or buy one. Or carry any weapon.

Just tried to treat patients, not create them.

Such a concept.
