Remember Matt Damon as Brett Beer Boy? It was a classic.

I would not be surprised to see Aidy Bryant as Kyle this week.

I look at it every once and a while because it was so funny and perfect. A friend was saying "I love beer" for months after K's testimony. She learned quickly who was and was not tuned in. I'm glad she finally quit though.

Rittenhouse being a boy, I can allow a little more leeway.

As I've told my son, the list of things a man can cry about is very small.

correct. Of course, many never achieve maturity, regardless of age.

But I think we may have to come up with some new terms for that in-between, 18-28 decade.

They ain't adults as I understood it at that age. I'm 53 now. Some of them have never even touched a...never mind. LoL

My generation did a bad job raising kids.

There were quite a few well rehearsed facial gymnastics, but not a single tear gathered in the corner of his eyes.

When you go into an actual crying episode, the nasal passages contract as well, which is why your nose runs when you cry hysterically. They're all connected; eyes, ears, nose and throat. When the eyes let go, the rest will follow.

Nothing of that sort happened to the pudgy little nazi today. Sociopaths would find it extremely difficult to summon tears on command. Trump couldn't do it in a hundred years. Neither could Kyle Rittenhouse.

Apparently it fooled quite a few people though, so he and his mother's weeks of rehearsal weren't for naught.

It probably will affect the jury and the judge.

The good people of Kenosha should find their way to Door County. I'm afraid we'll see more rioting over this trial, no matter the outcome. No winners in this deal.

But, few respect a guy that cries often.

It's more about WHO you cry in front of. Not so much about what you cry about.

My wife, and she alone, has seen me cry about things I'd never want others see me cry about.

Reminds me of BPD clients (master manipulators). Maybe if he squeezed hard enough, he'd milk out a drop. Not to mention the panic attack performance that ended suddenly and right in time for the break

I've never seen a case of tear-less crying that I thought was sincere.

In Rittenhouse's defense, only the best actors can produce tears on demand.

There is something, from a movie, from a book, from real life, that always makes you cry. Concentrate on that and how it makes you feel; your eyes will begin to tear up. You might be able to squeeze a tear or 2, if needed.

I somehow doubt that Rittenhouse is nearly sufficiently attuned to his feelings to rouse tears by raising sad memories. Then again, I'm a cynical old bastard.

About there not being any tears (there aren't), and that it was the most OBVIOUS fake crying she's ever seen (It's true. And she raised my younger sister [she was mentally ill, undiagnosed since it was so long ago]. She could fake cry better than that by kindergarten, so she's used to fake crying. Oh, and she raised younger sister's daughter and is raising the grandson (her great-grandson) with similar issues ).

She's been watching the trial, and is pissed off at the judge, too, for his so obvious bias.
