Just a few things they can work on:
The judge's ringtone.
The judge helping the defense trying to disallow a simple zoom in of a video clip that would impeach Rittenhouse's testimony.

(33,345 posts)SNL usually doesn't parody when there are deaths involved. They'll stay away. This case isn't funny.

(9,074 posts)The Kavenaugh crying shit was hilarious.
In this, I don't think it'd leave the audience with a good feeling. This is, after all, an 18 year old. People are dead. And I know people with an ideological interest talk about him like he was burning crosses before he was out of diapers, but the whole situation is just inexpressibly sad.
However, if they stick to the attorneys and the judge, I could see it working. Especially with the ring tone. All the different song possibilities.
Why did the judge have his phone on? Once, ok. People forget to flick the switch. But phones and alarms kept going off. I have professors who send people out of class for the day and mark them absent for that shit. Can't manage that one in the courtroom?

(46,733 posts)You would think a competent judge would be disciplined enough to shut it off.
And, seriously, wouldn't a competent judge KNOW how to maintain the appearance of objectivity? Are we now in an era of factoring in politically motivated judges>
