When both Twitter and Newsmax kick you to the curb... You know the crazy is strong

Newsmax White House correspondent Emerald Robinson has been permanently suspended from Twitter for repeatedly violating the social platform’s rules against spreading COVID-19 misinformation, according to a spokesman for the tech giant

Twitter initially gave Robinson, who has relentlessly pushed anti-vaccine falsehoods for more than a year, a temporary time-out last week after she posted an insanely absurd claim that the COVID-19 vaccines contained a glowing tracking device that was linked to the devil.

“Dear Christians: the vaccines contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked,” Robinson declared last Monday. “Read the last book of the New Testament to see how this ends.”

Yes... That is correct, you are not reading that wrong. The cultists now believe that the devil is an ingredient in the vaccine. The real problem we have... They are fucking nuts.

Luciferase is a generic term for the class of oxidative enzymes that produce bioluminescence, and is usually distinguished from a photoprotein. The name was first used by Raphaël Dubois who invented the words luciferin and luciferase, for the substrate and enzyme, respectively.[1] Both words are derived from the Latin word lucifer, meaning "lightbearer", which in turn is derived from the Latin words for "light" (lux) and "to bring or carry" (ferre).[2]

In November 2021, a White House correspondent for the conservative outlet Newsmax tweeted a false statement that a COVID-19 vaccine contained luciferase, she also claimed it was used to track people.[27][28] Newsmax removed the reporter from the air and stated "We have seen no evidence to suggest LUCIFERASE or LUCIFERIN are present in any vaccines or that they are used as any sort bioluminescent marker."[29]

...wouldn't last more than a few minutes in the bloodstream because of all the free O2, and the organoferrites which facilitate oxidation.
Would be a crummy tracking device if it dissipated before one left the pharmacy!

for some storytelling or theological purpose. And they do so without any reference to said religionists. This was especially true in 19th century France, when/where the term was coined. Scientists are not thinking about your hobby or hangups every moment of the day, Y'all Qaeda, so get over yourselves.

lucifer (lower case) is a Latin word meaning light-bearer, from lux (light) and ferre (to bring or carry)

What the fuck else were they supposed to call a biolumenesence enzyme and substrate other than luciferase and luciferin, respectively?

...religious-right radtrad-ism, and Cold-War-era Red-baiting decades older than she is. I still can't believe the crap she was allowed to "report" on NewsLeast...er...NewsMax. As their White House correspondent, she asked the most ridiculous, convoluted, five-paragraph questions, constantly antagonizing Jen Psaki. Totally disrespectful.

I'm hoping she might finally get the boot from NewsMax, as she gave them a backhand in one of her tweets before they pulled the plug. Apparently she's now on Gettr.
