Newsmax White House correspondent Emerald Robinson was permanently banned from Twitter on Tuesday for repeatedly violating its rules on COVID-19 misinformation.

Robinson returned to the social media platform just hours earlier after a seven-day suspension for claiming that the COVID-19 vaccine contained some kind of satanic bioluminescent marker that allowed people to be tracked.

After her account was reinstated Tuesday, she received her fifth violation and was suspended permanently, a Twitter spokesperson told The Hill. She had more than 440,000 followers.

Newsmax, a right-wing network known for promoting conspiracy theories and lies about Donald Trump’s election defeat, also dismissed Robinson’s claims as false and took her off the airwaves last week.

...in her role with NewsLeast...er...NewsMax. Robinson asks these incredibly long, convoluted questions, literally paragraphs long and usually containing multiple conspiracy theories. I really hope NewsMax gives her the boot as well. She gave them a backhand in one of her tweets right before the plug was pulled.

Right now, she is on some kind of extended "suspension", but an article from yesterday makes things sound more serious for her. Right before Twitter pulled the plug, one of her last tweets was a backhand to her (former?) employer.

Robinson’s future with Newsmax, meanwhile, remains up in the air. Following publication, a network spokesperson told the Daily Beast that the far-right reporter “remains off-air as Newsmax reviews matters relating to her posts made outside of the channel on her own social media,” adding that the network has “not determined when she will return to the air.”
