(1,967 posts)I would like to give a big THANK YOU to you and all the other military vets (and civilian workers) who are working or have worked in mess halls through the years. I liked the food in the mess hall and being on separate rations because of my duty hours I can say the meals were very inexpensive.
Keeping the troops fed and keeping the dining facilities clean and sanitary is a lot of hard work and often goes unappreciated.
So thank you again for doing a great job!
