The problem I am seeing right now is that Right Wing judges aren't giving equal protection to groups they disagree with politically.

the hope is some of those folks on the jury may have friends relatives that may one day be protestors, and don't want their loved ones targeted nor shot by folks ....supposedly there to simply protect property.

Of George Zimmerman somewhat. Thought Zimmerman went to jail on some other charge a few years ago, but not sure.

How either of those cases could end in acquittal is beyond comprehension but that was the case in the OJ trial and after the election of tRump I no longer say, "that won't ever happen."
