Anti-Vaccine Doctor Who Called Mask Wearing 'Dangerous' Dies of COVID-19
Dr. Christopher Foley, who criticized mask-wearing and spread false information about a COVID-19 vaccine, passed away from complications of the virus.
The Minnesota doctor pushed back against continued use of masks, writing on his company website that they are "downright dangerous" if worn for extended periods of time. He was also critical of the vaccine, calling it a "human experiment" and advocated for the widespread use of ivermectin and vitamins to cure COVID-19.
Foley's obituary said he passed away from an "unexpected illness," but his son, Logan Foley, confirmed at his funeral that his death was the result of complications from COVID-19.
"Was he vaccinated? No, he was not," Logan said. "If he'd only been vaccinated, wouldn't he still be here? Obviously, we'll never know."

Zero sympathy... In fact I'm glad the fool is dead. At least now he will not kill any more people. This POS had blood on his hands and got what he deserved.

(102,292 posts)and even before COVID-19, many of us for hour upon hour throughout a shift--in surgery, in ICU, in ER with respiratory or other infectious diseases, in NICU, with transplant patients, in cancer wards. Sometimes I think I've spent more time in a face mask than without.
I don't understand why he got by with spewing this nonsense. Many of the press have health care professional family members who undoubtedly have impressed on them how ludicrous this is, yet even on the non-Fox media, they are timid in calling bullshit, bullshit when interviewing a supposed medical person such as this spewing nonsense.
Some days, it is just too infuriating to discuss.
Rest fitfully in perpetual regret, idiot. Harsh, yes, but damned deserved.

(16,420 posts)Of course, there are still way too many other scary covid deniers in positions of power and/or influence, doing their best to get people killed, like Joseph Ladapo, DeSatan's new handpicked Surgeon General. And DeSatan, too, for that matter. And many, many, many others.

(790 posts)He'll be successful in helping DeSatan finish off survivors in the next go around of the virus. Don't let your guard down, people. Parts of the U.S. and much of the world remain unvaccinated, which could allow for outbreaks and dangerous new variants to emerge. According to The New York Times Coronavirus Tracker, the total vaccination rate for the U.S. is just 58 percent. The ideal is 90 percent. People get tired, the virus doesn't. We've seen it regroup, morph and coming raging back like gang-busters.
Keep your guard up.

(790 posts)They are passive suicides that have joined together in the dark nooks and crannies of social media. Some of them may feel that, at last, they belong to something: a suicide cult. Some of them talk about "going to the Lord," while they chose to look past the incredible, life-saving miracle of the vaccines. Instead, they infect the innocent and keep the virus circulating. To say nothing of the resources they are draining from the health care system and repeatedly put their own families at risk of infection. It is because of these dead brains that we will never reach herd immunity, leaving the door open for further mutations of SARS-CoV-2.

I check the county health dept web site regularly for covid statistics. As the numbers of delta deaths increased, so did the obits in the local newspaper that say, "unexpected illness." I have yet to see an obit that gives covid as the cause of death.

(1,204 posts)based on the deceased having committing suicide (German: Selbstmord= self killing) by refusing to become vax'd,
I wonder if that could be a further incentive to increase the %age of vaccinations. At least maybe pressure by the family would make the jackass reconsider his stubborn anti-vax stance.
