Seriously?!: #Rittenhouse jurors gave the first defense witness Thursday a round of applause.

#Rittenhouse jurors gave the first defense witness Thursday a round of applause. They did after Judge Schroeder asked if anyone in court had served in the military. When John Black said from the stand he had, the judge called for the applause in recognition of Veterans Day.

Ya see no state in this Union is 100% pure. It doesn't matter if you are a southerner or from up north, whackadoddles live everywhere and they are destroying this very Union.

His expertise is based on his military career, which would have been disclosed pretty much the first time he was on the stand.

I am sorry if you cannot understand the problem of a judge asking people to applaud someone in a trial…. For any reason. It is beyond the pale.

Hoffman has been resurrected and is now presiding on behalf of Rittenhouse.

Little known fact - not verified by Ancestry - Abbie said he was Judge Julius's illegitimate son.

Can any federal charges be brought here? I remember after the Rodney King cops were acquitted, they then were convicted on a federal charge, if I’m remembering it right

Mandatory patriotism. If they hadn't stood and clapped, there'd be Rightist screams to have them removed from the Jury.

for anyone but especially the judge to introduce external considerations unrelated to the case which could serve to prejudice the jury. Was that the judge's intent? Did he plan it in advance?
