2. It always surprised me a bit that Cain's death didn't get more press.

I get that Trump and his fellow dopes don't care that he died, but he was relatively high profile, certainly one of the highest-profile early deaths. The group of nationally-recognized presidential candidates for either major party isn't very big.

And just over a year later, we're seeing elected officials down the level of school boards threatened with death from these same people. But nobody in the popular media can bring themselves to notice the bright line that connects them.
