(86,802 posts)Grand Jury and that they work at their own pace which is not to the liking of many who can't stand to wait for anything.

(58,785 posts)his minions. Just which side would stirring up massive distrust and actual conspiracy theories (!) against Biden and his administration benefit? This expected indictment is already being woven into the RW's betrayal narrative as continuation of betrayal, and new sinister insinuations designed to stir up fear, no relief allowed, already posted all over social media, incuding DU.

(58,785 posts)WHO's behind the one, brought and removed here, that Biden's AG is conspiring to block prosecution of tRump and company in return for a Supreme Court appointment after tRump takes over? Clue: It's not a LW "Patriot" movement fighting betrayal by the evil Biden government.
And if that sounds crazy, it's because it is. But it works on some.
Addendum: Forgot to mention, just a little while ago I read one of the many threads that have been pushing it further, this one insinuating that AG Garland had assigned the Bannon case to a tRump agent to handle. This narrative's been pushed for months and is now coming to what the mind fuckers must feel is a satisfying boil. SOP now, just spin all information, valid and invalid, to further the conspiracy theory and keep their victims warped in.
That's where friends need to come in.

(67,782 posts)House cited Bannon for contempt on October 26
The DOJ sends the case to a Grand Jury to consider an indictment
Grand Juries meet only twice a month
The Grand Jury met today
Indictment is handed down by the Grand Jury on November 12.
From beginning to end that's only SEVENTEEN DAYS, certainly not a long time.
We can intelligently assume that the last time the Grand Jury met was 15 days ago (maybe 16 since yesterday was a holiday) - that would have been October 28, only two days after the contempt citation, and most likely their docket was already established.
With all of this in mind, today was the first possible day for an indictment to be handed down.
So much for the DOJ and Garland dragging their feet and "millions" urging action.
People familiar with these things have said that this was remarkably fast.

(7,873 posts)All it did was serve to demoralize fellow Democrats and really anyone that is even the slightest bit interested in the rule of law still today.
Once this is all said and done and the timeline of events comes out, it will most likely show that this has been in progress for quite some time now -- all the while the usual depressing, """they will never be held accountable""" crowd was spewing their bullshit.

(41,991 posts)And I dont mean that as an insult. We do that. And round the clock near infinite ability to Jack one another up out of fear and anger makes it so easy.
Ive learned to flow down. That is until my particular ox gets roundly gored. Then I can get caught up as if I dont know better. 🤷🏼♀️
But isnt it heartening to be reminded that there are all kinds of things being pursued that we dont know about?
