to testify ?
Doesn't he face prosecution for defying a subpeona which he can play the appeals game for a year or two with ?

(9,535 posts)60 days in jail may be enough to get him to testify and turn over the docs rather than languish there much longer.

(7,342 posts)in defying the subpeona, he can appeal that all the way up through the courts before he spends a day in jail.
but I wouldn't count on that if I were him.
Each time he refuses to turn up, he risks another count and with it more jail time.
I'm sure the DU lawyers can respond to this more authoritatively.

(7,342 posts)take a year and by then the rethugs will steal enough elections to take power and shut the whole thing down.
The only way I see this compelling him is if he is denied bail and sits in jail awaiting trial.Hell they are letting him come in on his on time frame not arresting him .

Hell lose millions in that time without the ability to host his griftcast.
