60 days in jail may be enough to get him to testify and turn over the docs rather than languish there much longer.

in defying the subpeona, he can appeal that all the way up through the courts before he spends a day in jail.

but I wouldn't count on that if I were him.

Each time he refuses to turn up, he risks another count and with it more jail time.

I'm sure the DU lawyers can respond to this more authoritatively.

take a year and by then the rethugs will steal enough elections to take power and shut the whole thing down.
The only way I see this compelling him is if he is denied bail and sits in jail awaiting trial.Hell they are letting him come in on his on time frame not arresting him .

He can take his lumps and keep quiet, if he thinks the penalty isn't too bad and the MAGA martyr grift opportunity is worth it.

I’m ok with that.

He’ll lose millions in that time without the ability to host his griftcast.
