WHAT Rittenhouse "Tears"?

Both NBC and ABC, during their national news this evening, referred to Rittenhouse's 'tearful breakdown' on the stand, or 'breaking down in tears' on the stand.

WHAT tears????

I think the norm is to try to hide your face, no one wants to let others see them crying, especially blubbering, so his going out of his way to show his face adds to the possibility it was totally fake. I'm sure he's completely terrified at his core though he's likely been told he's going to get off, so we'll see how it plays out.

Hard to see how he wouldn't be charged for the weapon, underage, etc. but if the judge decides to just let him off with a mistrial with prejudice, then that's that. Nothing we can do -- doubt it'd take Rittenhouse much time to commit another crime though, especially if he's not punished this time.
