Like the others in the cabal, his posture is that the only court that matters is the "court of public opinion" (i.e., tried in the RW-friendly media.) So just yell some word salad and you've already "won." He will merely have to withstand the scrutiny of the RW Wurlitzer. If he has Fox, OAN, etc., on his side and proclaiming him a saint, that's a win since this is all for the MAGA.

Having said that, I don't think anything will happen to him in a real court anyway. He has money, lives on some yacht somewhere with the Chinese or Russian oligarch that owns it, is in high demand on the RW talk-show/podcast circuit, etc. He will just run out the clock in endless appeals in venues packed with sympathetic trump judges.
