A Maryland mayor has been charged with 50 counts of distributing revenge porn on Reddit

https://osp.maryland.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2021/11/Bradshaw-Redacted-CI.pdf

Bradshaw is accused of creating several Reddit accounts to post explicit images of a woman with whom he had previously been romantically involved, according to a court document from the Maryland Circuit Court for Dorchester County. He is accused of posting images to Reddit forums like r/needysluts and r/DegradeThisPig, with suggestive captions linked to humiliation and sexual degradation.

Bradshaw posed as the woman and made the posts in her persona, creating a username with "permutations" of her name and birthday, according to court documents. He is further accused of posting images to "raceplay" subreddits, where he used racial slurs in "several of the posting titles," the documents show.

The Reddit posts were traced to the IP address of a property Bradshaw owns, per the court documents.

Per the statement from the prosecutor's office, Bradshaw is accused of violating the revenge porn statute in Maryland, which prohibits the distribution of intimate images of an individual without their consent. If convicted, Bradshaw faces a maximum two-year jail term and a $5,000 fine per count of violating the statute.

Insulting captions included racial slurs
Reddit accounts with usernames based on the victim's name and date of birth "were utilized to post photographs of Victim-1's face and intimate parts to public Reddit forums," the charging document said. Those forums include "subreddits named 'HumiliatingComments,' 'DegradeThisPig,' 'DegradedCaptions,' 'Slut,' and 'needysluts,'" the document said. "Additional photographs of Victim-1 were posted in subreddits specifically related to 'raceplay' with racial slurs in several of the posting titles." The revenge-porn posts were made from an IP address traced to a house that Bradshaw owns in Cambridge, the document said.

Racial epithets allegedly used by Bradshaw in photo captions were redacted from the copy of the charging document provided by the prosecutor's office. The document says captions on the revenge-porn photos included "Ready to try my first ever [redacted] dick," "The kind of white girl [redacted] love to nut on," "I have no self-esteem, and just want to be covered in cum to know my fat body has a purpose," "Every morning, I get off to the thought of dozens of guys jerking off and pumping out their load to pics of my fat titties

Or, at least, he has all the trappings of one. Don’t imagine he’s winning re-election regardless of his affiliation.

“ Andrew grew up a stone’s throw from Cambridge’s city limits, on Moose Lodge Road, attended Countryside Christian School through 8th grade, then transferred to Chesapeake Christian School in Easton to complete his primary and secondary studies. As a child and teen, he continued to watch Cambridge lurch forward, finding limited success in its business community, only to see the progress of the community slowed or halted by the decisions of leaders who failed to take a broad-minded, open approach to governance. Controversial decisions, often made in haste, led to outcomes for Cambridge that failed to benefit the community at large. During this time, Andrew became interested in government, and in how it might help bridge the gap between Cambridge’s present and its future. As a teen, Andrew spent a year interning with Maryland Senator Richard F. Colburn, working in his district office, traveling to work in Annapolis, and assisting on his 2006 reelection campaign.

Andrew spent several years working at his uncle’s automotive repair business, Roy Bradshaw’s Body Shop, before going on to attend the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania. Andrew earned degrees in Political Science, History, and Law & Society, as well as a minor certificate in Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Penn State, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.91 GPA, and having been named to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the nation’s oldest, as well as one of its most prestigious, honor societies. Andrew was also 2015’s Penn State Outstanding Adult Student Award recipient, an honor bestowed upon one Penn State learner above age twenty-four who has overcome difficulty and hardship to become a leader in the Penn State community.

At Penn State, Andrew was a leader. He worked as a government and university administration reporter for the Daily Collegian, Penn State’s student newspaper that, at the time, was winning national awards and accolades for its coverage of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal. As a sub-chair on the University Park Allocation Committee, he led the decision-making for the distribution to student groups, university services, and other campus enhancements of a $3.8 million annual budget derived from student activity fee funds. As the Student Fee Committee UPAC representative, he assisted in determining annual student fee levels across all campuses in the Penn State system, and in budgeting the distribution to individual campuses and university organizations of the more than $6 million annually collected by the fee. Finally, as a member of the Penn State Student Philanthropy Council, Andrew directed the Golden Lion Campaign, a student-administered scholarship fund. Andrew was named a Maryland Public Service Scholar, and received a prestigious internship in Governor Larry Hogan’s Legislative Office. He also received a Governor’s Citation for his dedication to public service.

Following graduation, Andrew returned to the Eastern Shore. He went back to work assisting in the growth of his family’s business, Roy Bradshaw’s Body Shop, as it spun-off the Bradshaw’s Towing division, and as it began entering the heavy-duty towing and heavy-equipment hauling fields. During this time, he also assisted with the establishment and growth of a sister-business, 1st Choice Environmental Services. Both grew quickly, adding nine employees across the companies to their payrolls between 2017 and 2020. Under Andrew’s guidance, the businesses have become great contributors to the Cambridge community, helping to sponsor and grow events in Cambridge and throughout Dorchester County.”

If he were a Democrat, the media would be tripping over their tongues because they couldn’t get that fact out quickly enough.
