John Deere strike ended

Many have regarded this strike as a bellwether about worker-management power balance in this country, and many eyes have been on this strike. The new contract does contain things the workers wanted. But there was a strong desire to eliminate the two-tier system. It is still in place, but a management was not able to add a third tier. Which wasn't in the previous contract. So that's good.

Good for them. I'm sure they'll be happy to get back to work, especially since it's so close to Christmas.
