Fort Wayne IN - Day before Thanksgiving

They waste time doing Christmas tree lightings and broadcasting it on the news live.

They should do it Saturday after Thanksgiving.

And people complain about shopping before Thanksgiving and Christmas music on radio stations before.

downtown on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Personally, I was usually surprised to see Santa Claus on the last float of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. I guess I was a little slow.

I also remember being shocked several years ago walking into a Sears store (told it was several years ago) on Labor Day and seeing it fully decorated for Christmas.

If people want to get all Christmas crazy before thanksgiving, who cares?

I’ve never understood the hatred here about people who like the season.

Sadly, my family who made it Christmas for me are all gone, but I still smile to see others enjoy it.

And I put lights up in my yard. And I make mince pies, just as my mother did.
