Happy Thanksgiving, my DU pals!
My wife and I awoke in an Airbnb near Gig Harbor, WA, having flown here yesterday (a very long day) from western NC. We're excited to be hosted by our daughter and her family ..first time I'm not responsible for the big meal in our 41 years of marriage!
We've not flown in 2 years. All went smoothly, but all day masked isn't the most fun one could have (but of course we did it gladly). The Charlotte NC airport was truly a sea of humanity. We observed no issues anywhere, which was comforting...no unmasked, no arguments, not a single MAGA hat or shirt.
We're about to be collected by our daughter, ready for family fun, seeing our 2 grandsons for the first time in 3 years

We lived near there before we packed up and moved to Hawaii. I miss it, but only a little. It is a beautiful area.
I'll bet your grandsons will have lasting memories because of this trip. Make the most of every minute.
