It was obvious, just from the ceremonial tasks he refused to do (couldn't show his face) and his vendetta style of diplomacy and his consorting with dictators but heres MORE dereliction of duty, more heavy duty dereliction of tending to national security. Not that he ever grasped the meaning of intel briefings or paid attention to them, but here he was completely abandoning all pretense about them.
And everything we KNOW that he did or didnt do, its all the tip of the iceberg that we DONT know. But the wingnut zombies just yuck it up and perform their own treason, talking about "populism" and Andrew JACKSON.

Former President Donald Trump stopped receiving intelligence briefings entirely a month before the end of his term, according to new information released by the CIA.
In an analysis of Trumps briefings throughout his presidency, former CIA Inspector General John Helgerson described the 45th presidents tenure as a unique challenge for the intelligence community. ....
Then, after leaving for Mar-a-Lago for Christmas on Dec. 23, Trump stopped receiving briefings altogether. ....
The briefings were to resume on 6 January, Helgserson continued, but none were scheduled after the attack on the Capitol.

(19,204 posts)and "intelligence" are two words which should never again be used in the same sentence.
It's actually an oxymoron, like Jumbo Shrimp and Military Intelligence. "Trump" and "Intelligence" are the polar opposites.
