I'd like your acquaintance to explain my 3rd trip to India.

I only went east & ended up where I started. (Literally! I came in to the same gate from which we left!)

This does, of course, give no explanation of why the stars look different in the southern hemisphere (or, to them, the outer ring beyond the equator). Or why the sun sets at different times in different longitudes (they handwave about it not actually setting, but really being a spotlight that shines in different directions. The amazing thing is that by now, they're denying the evidence of their own eyes that they've seen their whole life, and they don't seem to care).

21. I met one of "them" 3 years ago at a park

while out with my dog. I thought he was joking as he showed me pictures from his phone as evidence. Every single point that I challenged him on he had an insipid response. Thank god he is the only one I have met. What a waste of my time and energy. According to him ALL of the pilots and astronauts that ever existed are all in on the plot since every photo they have ever taken from their plane window was a hoax and the horizon line is not slightly curved.

Flat-Earthers get super-irritated if you try to discuss the evidence whether Earth is flat. They have a memorized script, but don't you dare ask them your own questions. They hate it when people ask questions about Flat-Earth.

Flat-Earthers are boring nobodies who have failed at life. And they try to make up for this by inventing this story how they are heroes fighting a powerful conspiracy that is hiding the true shape of the world.
