Driving home tonight, I thought about Republicans' floor speeches today on the "sanctity of life".
And how this concern for "life" apparently doesn't extend to the kids who were shot today in a school in Michigan.
So I turned the car around, and went to the Senate floor.

The gun industry/NRA supporters would rather have dead children than gun control.
To the gun industry, dead children are merely collateral damage/acceptable losses for gun industry profits and political donations.

Sen. Murphy On School Shootings: 'We Choose To Let It Happen' - All In - MSNBChttps://www.democraticunderground.com/1017696326
Sen. Chris Murphy on school shooting in Michigan that left 3 dead, and at least 8 injured: Im at my wits end about why Republicans concern for life seems so limited when the choices we could make to try to protect our kids are so obvious, are so politically popular, are so possible. Aired on 11/30/2021.

But you're right. Guns are only permissible for the males of the species - of any age.

The NRA was completely for gun control when the Black Panthers had guns.
