Joe Biden should issue an executive order that no president can pardon her- or himself

Just saying. Can’t hurt, might help.

It seems a million years ago and I’d forgotten all about it, but I’m reading in “The Cult of Trump” (highly recommended) about how Trump kept talking about how he could pardon himself. Wouldn’t an executive order be a wonderfully subtle but effective way of reminding people about the kind of president we now have compared with TFG?

only applies within the current administration. It takes a law to impact subsequent administrations.

I feel like an idiot. I didn’t realize that EOs about presidential behavior wouldn’t apply to other presidents.

It would still be a dig at Trump and a reminder that Biden has nothing to hide while TFG tried to get away with everything.
