Zealously anti-LGBTQ North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) allegedly wagged his finger in the face of a state lawmaker who made a speech about supporting LGBTQ people, yelling at her for equating Black people with gay people.
It was a rant. He berated her, and he yelled as loudly as he could, said state Sen. Natasha Marcus (D), who witnessed the confrontation.
State Sen. Julie Mayfield (D) gave a speech in the North Carolina Senate Monday night condemning anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and expressing the need for politicians to represent everyone, The News & Observer reported. She did not mention Robinson explicitly.
We have a responsibility to serve all of our constituents, not just those who look like us, or think like us, or who worship in the same church as us, Mayfield said. We are here to serve everyone
even if they love differently from us.

(61,622 posts)This guy is my Lieutenant Governor, and he's in the news constantly. He is deeply preoccupied with gay people. As a lesbian I'm usually offended when folks assume that homophobic bigots are secretly gay, but in the case of Robinson, I wonder. He talks about us all the time.

(2,240 posts)From Wikipedia:
Robinson's past antisemitic comments have drawn scrutiny and condemnation.[15][19] He claimed that the movie Black Panther was "created by an agnostic Jew and put to film by satanic Marxist" that was "only created to pull the shekels out of your Schvartze pockets" (using a Yiddish word for Black).[20][16] Robinson also appeared at an interview with fringe pastor Sean Moon, who claimed that he planned to become "king of the United States"; in the interview, Moon claimed that the Rothschild family was one of the "four horsemen of the apocalypse" and promoted the antisemitic conspiracy theory of a cabal of Jewish "international bankers" who rule every country's central bank. Robinson endorsed Moon's claim as "exactly right."[19] Robinson's statements, as well as his refusal to apologize or retract them, has alarmed North Carolina's Jewish community.[15]

There are hundreds of homosexual animals. Birds, fish and mammals. Is that just a little woopsie.
How do Christians justify their hate for so many of God's creatures.

(57,097 posts)... from him by any degree by the recognition that LGBTQ, (non binary, inter-sexed or Lutherans, for that matter), are human with human rights: except his no longer being able to claim hate speech is only his free speech. Oh, he can still say that crap, but there are consequences.
