Just as we thought - the Slobfather tested positive for Covid

three days before the first debate with Joe Biden according to a new book by Mark Meadows.
This monster has to go.

Donald Trump tested positive for Covid-19 three days before his first debate against Joe Biden, the former president’s fourth and last chief of staff has revealed in a new book.

Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows gestures at a Make America Great Again event at Gastonia Municipal Airport on 21 October 2020.
Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to testify before Capitol attack committee

Mark Meadows also writes that though he knew each candidate was required “to test negative for the virus within seventy two hours of the start time … Nothing was going to stop [Trump] from going out there”.

Trump, Meadows says in the book, returned a negative result from a different test shortly after the positive.

Nonetheless, the stunning revelation of an unreported positive test follows a year of speculation about whether Trump, then 74 years old, had the potentially deadly virus when he faced Biden, 77, in Cleveland on 29 September – and what danger that might have presented.

With Trump, we pretty much always assumed he was lying and I do recall many having their doubts back then. Clearly, the man had no concern for how many people he could be harming, though perhaps on some level, he hoped that he might infect Biden with the virus. He certainly is low enough to do something like that.

Wed Dec 1, 2021, 09:36 AM

makes taking a retest a logical choice to circumvent the system.

snip...
Using RT-PCR test results, along with reported time of exposure to the virus or time of onset of measurable symptoms—such as fever, cough and breathing problems—the researchers calculated the probability that someone infected with SARS-CoV-2 would have a negative test result when they had the viral infection

The researchers estimated that those tested with SARS-CoV-2 in the four days after infection were 67% more likely to test negative, even if they had the virus (CI, 27% to 94%). When the average patient began displaying symptoms of the virus, the false-negative rate was 38%.

https://www.clinicaloncology.com/COVID-19/Article/07-20/False-Negatives-Found-If-COVID-19-Testing-Done-Too-Soon/58781

So he chose the cowards way out. Suspecting he may be infected was not a factor in his decision. He had a good chance of testing negative based on the stats, and being what he is he acted as expected and passed the risk to others.

Those under TFG were willing to forego GLP. It is possible they allowed as many tests as needed with the criteria being the first negative test is the valid one, any prior test a false positive. All his decisions are based on odds alone.

Which, of course, would violate the very purpose of GLP.
Another element of GLP is, not kidding, no pencils, no whiteout.
If you make an error, you cross it out, initial it, and make correction. All in pen.
I wouldn't doubt the existence of the "false positives" were expunged from the record.
Positive 1, positive 2, positive 3, negative. One positive, one negative; the other 2 never happened. Therefore it must be negative. After all it was the last test.
Of course the last test was negative. They quit testing when they got a negative.

Deaths are down but they are expecting an uptick in a few weeks.
The real problem here is that people have rejected vaccines in droves. The number of vaccines that expired and had to be thrown away is a public embarrassment.

Less than 20% of the population is vaccinated. I'd worry about anyone over a certain age in this mess.

On the other hand, people do wear masks but I am very worried about the likely spread over the holidays because tourism matters more than Jamaican citizens.
They are gradually reopening the schools.
