talked about his willingness to sacrifice the lives of up to 6 million students in the name of keeping the schools open in 2020.

Does he even understand the implication of being okay with the deaths of 6 million innocents?

Compared it to a cold or flu and said lockdowns were not necessary.

That is all the quackery I need to hear from him.

Yeah, PA's vote means more than NJ.

While we are being called the Hollywood elist party, they are the ones who keeps elevating unqualified celebrities to high government jobs.

I would love to see John Fetterman tear him to shreds in a debate. I wish I could vote today, I can't wait.

I can't tell the former Dr. Oz from the latter. And even if he wins, he would not be setting any precedents. US Senate already has a bunch of political jokes among its elected members.

This is the problem with venerating "celebrities" Jonas Salk was a true American hero, a physician and researcher who spent his entire life searching for ways to protect people. He could have become insanely rich from his Polio vaccine, but knew that it was a matter of public health. He spent the last years of his life furiously searching for a vaccine against HIV. Yet, this asshole Oz is given the respect that should be reserved by someone like Salk, and he is using that to gain power.

Donald Trump was a big thing in the 80's even though he was a fraud all the way back then. California, the "liberal bastion" elected an "action star" as Governor AND before that a B-movie actor and shill for GE cigarettes, and 20 Mule Team Borax who became the face of conservatism.

We care what rappers say about COVID-19 and what actors plan to do about running for Texas Governor. Our obsession with celebrity has lead us to some very dark places in our history.
