I do not. In this case, it is all show, even as that is likely not the intent of at least some of those arguing.
I think minds are made up. I think the justices are political. some are ideologues. I think Roberts is worried about his legacy. I think Barrett is a religious nutjob. I think Alito has wanted to overturn for a long time. I think Justice Long Dong Kong (VERY old reference) is waiting to be told what to do. I think Boof and Gorsuch are waiting for orders from political strategists.

(10,052 posts)Some doctors won't do it because of religious beliefs, fine, there are doctors and clinics that will. We have no abortion laws in Canada, it is not criminalized.

Deep in my heart, I knew that was the beginning of the end for the America I grew up in. I just didnt have the money to relocate. At least Im glad Im a Californian.
