Almost looks real except that... I don't have a subscription with it:
"It is Norton which will charge you US$430.54 for renewing your Norton subscription. The charge will appear on your current account and will cover one year of Norton security. Norton will ask your permission to charge your saved payment method with us$430.54, which will renew your Norton subscription.
Following completion, your transaction will be processed, and once it has been received, your account balance will be updated. In the next two years, if your system plan is automatically renewed at $430.54 for one year, you will be charged $329.99 USD plus taxes."
Well, I don't have an account with them - whoever they are - so the charge cannot appear on my account. Just checked my bank account.
And of course I ignore this one

But, really, especially for seniors this really can be deceiving. Last week, on Thanksgiving, many on my NextDoor neighborhood, myself included, got the same Amazon scam and someone actually opened their computer to let them in... At least they hung up when the caller wanted bank account number then uninstalled their program...

(13,599 posts)They say they will "reverse the charge" (there never was a charge) if you let them hook up remotely to your computer, after which they ask you to type things on the screen which they use themselves to empty your bank account or charge items to your card.

Except, it's gratis from my ISP.
So, there's no account to be charged.
I knew it was a scam.
