Had my own Karen encounter this morning

So every morning I take my furbabies on a walk around the neighborhood. I've been doing this for the past few years now. But I keep them strictly on the sidewalk and avoid yards as much as possible. Anyway this morning I'm barely off our driveway as they sniff around and whatnot. My oldest Riley walks over to our neighbors tree that grows at the very corner of their yard next to the sidewalk. He goes over and sniffs it a bit, still on the sidewalk. All of sudden out of nowhere I hear. STAY OUT OF OUR YARD! Genuinely surprised by the sudden outburst with no idea where it came from. I look up from my puppers to see our neighbors teenage daughter standing there.

I asked her. Come again? She repeated her words. Stay out of our yard. I replied with. I'm on the sidewalk and so are they. I didn't let them into your yard. She goes on with you were going to and all the typical shit a Karen would say. I finally snapped and yelled. MIND YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS! Oh and tell your daddy to stop throwing his tall boys into my side yard!

Her dad is one of those robotic right wing nutjob Christians that we've had butt heads with for the last decade. She got pissed and stormed back into her house and I was fully expecting her bald headed dipshit father to come wobbling out. He didn't and good thing since I wasn't in the mood to get into an altercation.

Just a reminder that hatred is taught. Doesnt just happen.

This person is flashing their high beams on and off at me when I am coming home from work. I'm like WTF? Then they follow me into my own driveway and say they are calling 911 because I threw a cigarette in their yard. Which is total bullshit because I smoke but I never do that. They never called 911. They never did anything. I think they were just pissed off about my Biden/Harris bumper sticker. Some of these individuals are crazy. Be careful.

24. I've had neighbors throw beer can/bottles in my yard

I pick them up and throw them right back where they came from. I even witnessed someone (visiting my neighbor) finishing their beer bottle, (they didn't know I was standing there) and watched as he threw his bottle in my yard. I appeared out of the darkness and told him to pick it up which he did.


That's how I've dealt with this issue. No words spoken, just returning someone else's trash to where it belongs.


And as far your doggies they can walk on any sidewalk they choose.
