So did Romney try to nail Obama on Benghazi?

From some of the pre-debate discussion in the media, I thought Romney was going to try to hammer Obama on the question of whether the consulate attack was something we should have seen coming (planned and not spontaneous). I thought Romney was going to try to salvage his failure from the second debate. I was expecting the issue on Libya to be a major confrontation, the way the media seemed to build up to it all day.

Instead, it seems that Romney completely surrendered on the issue that I thought would be THE issue of this debate. Or did I miss that part of the debate when I went to the bathroom?

that corroborated what the administration reported and the call for Issa to be investigated for revealing unredacted info. This is apparently getting ugly and becoming a hot potato.
