Frozen broccoli recalled because it may contain small rocks and metal fragments

Conagra Brands has voluntarily recalled Birds Eye Broccoli Tots after two people suffered dental damage after eating it.

Conagra said the recall was initiated “due to the potential presence of small rocks and metal fragments in the product. Conagra Brands was made aware of this issue through calls from consumers,” in an announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Birds Eye Broccoli Tots recalled come in 12-ounce packages and have the following UPC numbers and expiration dates:

Case UPC 20-0-14500-00125- 6, item UPC 00-0-14500-00125-2, Lot code 4715105620 and best by dates of Aug. 19, 2022, and Aug. 25, 2022.

Case UPC 20-0-14500-00125- 6, item UPC 00-0-14500-00125-2, Lot code 4715104220 and best by dates of Aug. 11, 2022, and Aug. 12, 2022.

Case UPC 20-0-14500-00125-6, item UPC 00-0-14500-00125-2, Lot code 4715113720 and best by date of Nov. 17, 2022.

Case UPC 20-0-14500-00125-6, item UPC 00-0-14500-00125-2, Lot code 4715113020 and best by date of Nov. 10, 2022.
