I know the job market has improved but I see a huge need that would provide a lot of jobs

How about real-time phone help? I know some companies outsource to other countries. We’ve probably all had calls with someone you had trouble understanding. Also, in almost all cases there is a long wait to even get someone one the phone. While waiting you’ll hear repeated messages about using their online help on their website. Sometimes the question is as simple as where on their website is certain info available. That could be answered quickly. It doesn’t bother me to talk to a foreigner provided I can understand them and usually I can. But the long wait times are pretty offensive. I’ve had to call back multiple times to try and find a time that’s not too busy. I know it bothers a lot of people, unfortunately companies almost all have adopted this a cost cutting method. At least larger companies and institutions.

The call centers are not without controversy among those overseas employees and would be employees.

We have several call centers up here. The big attraction of Idaho to call center operators isn’t the low taxes or lack of regulation - it’s so low that unless you are opening a business that requires the employees be licensed, like a doctor’s office or a nail salon, you don’t even need a business license - but that Idahoans have unaccented speech.

If being around insane Trump-loving gun toters isn’t your thing, Seattle residents sound like we do but it’ll cost you more to operate there.
