My Granny does this on a weekly basis.
She forwards and ranks the Facebook clowns of the week.
Unfortunately, these are people we know.
Here are some fun facts:
-Police Deaths were at their lowest during the Obama Administration.
-Obama was labeled "A Careful Reader" for the time he spent (6 days a week) reading his daily briefings on National Security Matters.
Trump? Nah, 45 minutes two days a week, and staff had to brainstorm and come up with picture books and tell stories to keep him intrigued. Not to mention, he neglected to do that his last month in office, while planning a domestic terrorist attack!
Granny followed with the picture below, and said, "I should reply with this and maybe they will take the bait".

(66 posts)Mississippi is infested with Magats, and unfortunately, made up the bulk of my friends list. I got tired of blocking, it defeated the purpose of Facebook, and as you can see, they are still obsessed with the orange slob.
Politics shouldn't determine your friends, but these people make it real hard.

That is the problem with the "metaverse".

(66 posts)People love sharing those chain messages made up of nonsense about Covid and reasons why Trump is better than Obama.
This week, my neighbor added two bumper stickers to her car. One side says, "Q" and the other side says "45". Same lady told me back in April to not get the J&J shots, because she has several co-workers and family members who got severely sick from their second shot.
You read that right.

(66 posts)Even if it's a waste of time, Trump is still very relevant to them and they need to be corrected as often as possible.
I needed a break, that shit head has made me lose respect for so many people. It's mind boggling and disturbing.

(2,244 posts)Its effect on the 2016 election and the amount of covid disinformation - those two things alone have caused so much damage.

(146,309 posts)And I use Facebook. I never see anything like that there. So, I'm indebted to you for sharing it here...yes...
I live in Brandon, Mississippi...People are enraged because the school banned "Let's Go Brandon".
Parents throw coffee in the principal's face for quarantining their kids.
Dads like to jump the car rider lines and hop out of the truck to beat the parent for honking at them.
It's an up and coming community.

(66 posts)Twitter = a bunch of bots with numbers behind their names, they don't follow me, I don't follow them. I have 4 followers, by the way.
Facebook = a bunch of family members, co-workers, neighbors, colleagues, sharing the stuff originated by those bots. Pretty much my entire friends list.
I can't speak for anybody else, this is just what I have encountered. Didn't seem logical to keep it if I blocked everyone I was suppose to stay in touch with..
