1. Is the designation "M$M" a right wing meme?

The far right loves to trash Mainstream Media, because labeling them as unreliable and controlled by big money or international interests is seen as an effective way to discount the legitimate media’s unanimous refusal to accept 2020 election lies and Covid denial.
If we discount the MSM, the deranged right wing noise machines are ready to fill the void.

2. At this point, the mainstream media

is almost entirely in the tank for the Republicans.

Nearly all of their reporting is breathless discussion of how fucked Democrats are by trying to govern paired with misty, sepia toned memories of TFG.

3. I can't accept that

That would mean CNN and the networks have the same orientation as Newsmax, OAN and FOX, and that is an absurd proposition.
I watch MSNBC and CNN every night, and there is no way to claim that Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow, Brian Williams, etc have any philosophical alignment with Carlson and Hannity.

4. Newsmax, OAN, and Fox have

few touchpoints with reality.

CNN and MSNBC have some great people, but the networds push the narrative that all is lost in much of their programming as well.

It isn't about the individual personalities, it is about the overall narrative that the owners want.

CNN/MSNBC don't live in Q-land, so they seem reasonable by comparison.

Th M$M is not our friend. 6 or 7 Media cartels owned by the 1%.
