Ann Romney owns a dressage horse as part of her elitist, privileged attitude whose husband is running for president to work against the working class.

That's a rightwing link you provided.

from the end of the article: "Coclanis is Albert R. Newsome Distinguished Professor of History and director of the Global Research Institute at UNC-Chapel Hill."

from the UNC bio of Coclanis:

Peter Coclanis works primarily in economic and business history. Most of his earlier research focused on the American South in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, but in recent years he has been working on other areas and time periods as well, particularly on Southeast Asia in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His current big project is on the creation of integrated world markets for tropical and semi-tropical commodities, with a special emphasis on rice. This project has taken him to archives (and rice paddies) all over the world.

I don't get it either. I was all ready to post that I thought it was actually kind of cute the way she was steadying him from behind, but you're right--they're laughing as if they hadn't just seen their dreams of the White House go up in a puff of smoke.

When have you ever seen a politician's wife holding her man up like that? Something is decidedly wrong.. maybe he is unsteady and unsure of himself after the trouncing he got tonight and his loving consort is reassuring him with her touch, or rather her motherly grope..

A troubling view of a potential leader of the free world, I would say.

Whether or not RMoney is a klutz is waaay beside the point of his unfitness for the presidency. FDR couldn't walk without his son holding him up and he was a great president.

But of course, Romney is no FDR - to say the least!

It looked to me as if Ann stumbled toward Mitt Romney's back.. It is somewhat subtle...

But she does look as if she suddenly became weak...

I do not know anything about MS, but I wondered if MS could cause a sudden weakness...

I still dislike Ann Ronmey....
