Lawyer says they are not fleeing, that they were out of town for their own safety and are coming back now. They were supposed to turn themselves in at 4PM today.


5:00 PM Lawyer talked to US Marshalls at 3:45 and she had not talked to the couple. Manhunt still on.

A law enforcement official told CNN the parents withdrew $4,000 from an ATM in Rochester Hills, Michigan, on Friday. Rochester Hills is about 10 to 15 miles from Oxford.

Law enforcement had been able to track the couple's whereabouts by cell phone pings but can no longer do so as the couple's cell phones are turned off, the official said.

The source did not specify when the phones were turned off.

Prosecutors were worried about the couple evading law enforcement because they didn't have ties to their community and officials had trouble locating the Crumbley couple once their son was being arraigned, the source added.

None of them keep *all* of their guns in the same location.

One former friend of mine had his gun safe taken from his home (burglary).

He was still left with: gun he had concealed on his person, several guns left with a friend, a few other guns that were in his vehicles, a few guns that were in his storage unit.

In all, he was left with over 10 guns of various types after losing the bulk of his collection.

36. I think it's both, actually. Canadians who make short excursions into the US

were just this week exempted from having to have a negative PCR for re-entry into CA, but I think Americans entering CA still had to have a negative PCR plus vaccination proof. Although now America is going to require negative test results for Canadians coming in within 24 hours or something. It changes a lot. Either way, though, I doubt they'd be let in.
