Speculating, its what we do at this point. .... But it seems to me with her social media posts about the gun and target practice posts that she was broadcasting her little precious had a gun and knew how to use it.
Hell she may have let him take it to school to give him that "tough guy" image. Unloaded which is why he was looking for ammo.
