With dwindling revenue, they lay off their own reporters and choose to purchase content from AP instead.

Our paper has gone to 4 days in print and 3 days online. We still subscribe. Although I do admit that I miss reading the paper-paper on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.

The media isn't really out there hammering the story that the economy is *booming* and that inflation and shortages are really just the logical consequence of an economy growth really quickly.

It's too much reading for our opposition. Unless it comes with crayon pictures, they will never get past the word 'sluggish'.

This is likely a connection between the predicated numbers versus actual numbers. The media is unquestionably biased, has been since the beginning, and calling the AP right wing bias is definitely a theory. A theory I'd put in the same category as Russian collusion and a stolen election. Seriously, come on folks, we are brighter than this and should be capable of differentiating between news and propaganda.

Welcome to DU or something like that.

Are you denying that the Russians wanted -- and took active measures -- to help get Trump elected? If so, you might need to """clean up your own house first""" when it comes to learning what is and what is not propaganda.

is a way for them to make the news compelling, to make a good news "story". TFG could say that he created the greatest economy in the history of everything but you never heard the news story about how his message was off-base and out-of-touch with the reality at the kitchen table.

Drives me nuts when the media says Biden needs to get his message out. But he can't talk about how good the economy is because people think it sucks.
