Republicans, look behind you. Can you possibly be proud of the handful of "dead-enders" who are

your only recent "converts"?

They have "recently" straggled into your entourage only because they have always been too apathetic and ignorant to be persuaded to support or oppose anything. They simply had not ever before been motivated to consider the feelings or welfare of anyone other than themselves and they still don't. But, you told them that that selfishness was right and moral and even admirable. And, for the first time for many of them, they were welcomed into a group of people who said they were "courageous" and "decent" and "right".

Among yourselves and behind their backs, you call them "losers".

While in public you may nod and smile as they rant about not just "life begins at conception", but also the lizard people taking over our government, bleach enemas and the "revivification" of JFK and John Jr., you roll your eyes at each other when they are not in the room.

You are the locomotives of the "Trump train" as the wheels come off and it leaves the rails and passengers with anything functioning between their ears leap off.

Please proceed.

I know a lot of them started out on Rush Limbaugh and moved on from there.

The election of Obama as President set a lot of them on fire.

Now it is very much like a fundamentalist religion (I know a lot of them, too) where any deviation is a damning heresy and outsiders are hated.
