...on the grounds that she'll have no problem raising all the money she'll need. Better to put our cash into less flush campaigns.

(94,737 posts)FWIW, I regularly monitor candidate fundraising efforts. It becomes clear whether or not a candidate needs additional support.
I also didn't give money to Mark Kelly in 2020.

My huge problem is gerrymandering.

(4,131 posts)The amount of funding they've already received, or are likely to receive, is only one factor. Sometimes donating is just the right thing to do.

(26,760 posts)Assuming that you have limited funds for political donation, it isn't unreasonable to wait until the primary period has ended and evaluate which Democratic candidate(s) can most benefit from the dollars that you can spare.
You may find that, come next May, she's flush with cash and ahead of her republican opponent because they had a rough primary.

However, I am going to contribute to the opponents of the GOPers I hate the most-- Boebert, Greene, Gosar, McConnell.
