So where's the lower gas prices?

We all watch the markets. Gas has been dropping for weeks yet at least around here (central/eastern PA) aside from Costco and Sam's Club pretty much ain't budging. Even the bigger chains like Sheetz and Wawa are only dribbling down a penny or two at most. Are TPTB sticking it to us during the holidays and trying to make Biden look bad in the process or is there something else going on?

That will not change until the law is revoked which may never happen. It would be difficult to see under 3 dollar a gallon of gas for awhile.

Pennsylvania. I heard they should go down to maybe $3 by the end of the year probably not in PA though.
The toll roads in PA are ridiculous they just opened a new section of toll road to the Pittsburgh airport. I think it is
about 18 miles long. It costs around $18 for a round trip, I would only use about $3.50 in gas! Don't get me wrong
I like PA I go there many times during the year to ride the bike trails around western PA beautiful country. But the
taxes are to damn high.

Oil supplies have to be reajusted, according to a story on NPR last week.

Here in Indiana they’re pretty much unchanged — $3.45/gal.

Had to smile after seeing one of those MAGA-created, Joe Biden "I did that!" stickers on a pump when reflecting upon that 10%+ drop.

Dropped to $3.11 from around $3.90. Expect to be under $3 within the week. Also, shelves are stuffed with product - christmas items such as Poinsett's and wreaths are much cheaper this year..not sure about Christmas Trees. Restaurant food items have gone up in some restaurants (price gouging) while staying at pre-covid prices at others.

Sitting and idling for 15 minutes, driving alone to work, taking the car for short trips…

When people start using a lot less of it, the price will come down.

Crude is trading at around $70/barrel, just off a peak of $80. The Trump Low of just over $20/barrel was a short-lived mirage.

But it's weird.
In town here gas has dropped 35-40¢ since the week before Thanksgiving.
Yet, I went to the pot store yesterday about 25 miles north, and gas was only down 12-15¢.
One truck stop just off the interstate had unleaded for $3.23. All the other station were mid three forties.
Some stations down way more than others.
