Is this the "protocol" adopted by Trumpies subpoenaed by the January 6th Committee?
1.) Don't respond in any way for weeks.
2.) When your time to comply is nearly up, make some public statement that you are trying to comply but need more time.
3.) Eventually, have an attorney send a series of letters attacking the validity of the subpoena.
4.) When a Committee member uses the term "contempt" or "referral" on TV, have an attorney send a series of letters stating that you are "eager to fully cooperate" but then claims you cannot answer questions which would violate the non-existent ( fill in blank ) privilege.
5.) When all the above fails, agree to "testify" but claim the protection of the 5th Amendment.
6.) Two days before your scheduled testimony, find some doctor somewhere---(ask Trump)---to write a medical excuse saying you are too ill to testify.
7, 8, 9, etc., etc.) Yada-yada-yada.
If you are EVER actually indicted, not to worry. Dear Leader promises to pardon you as soon as he is reinstated. ( Ask Mr. Lindell about timing of said reinstatement)
